PAYC Gala 2022
After a two-year COVID 19 hiatus, Positive Attitude Youth Center (PAYC) held its annual Spring Gala this past Thursday night, April 28, 2022, at our Graham-Hopedale Road location. Over 150 people gathered at the Center’s gymnasium to celebrate the work of PAYC and learn more about its mission to serve the children and families. Executive Director Kerry Richmond led the festivities that included presentations by two Alamance County thought leaders: Ms. Tracey Grayzer of Impact Alamance and Ms. Tyronna Hooker of Alamance Achieves.

Thank you to
Impact Alamance and Alamance Partnership for Children for our new outdoor play spaces.
Dr. Diggs is featured in this news story about learning loss during the pandemic. Positive Day School students are shown utilizing our Literacy Lab and BookNook learning platform. Also featured are our partners from Alamance Achieves.
The message is one of hope and resiliency among our students, staff and community.

Mission Statement
Founded in 1995, Positive Attitude Youth Center's vision of its ministry is threefold. First, we serve at-risk families and communities with needed resources. Secondly, we attend to the whole child: spiritually, academically, and physically. Finally, we give students and families the opportunity to improve socially, build sustainable and healthy lifestyles, and build character. Through this vision, PAYC hopes to see better neighborhoods, less crime, and more thoughtful choices from children and young adults.
