The PAYC garden is thriving despite the hot temperatures this summer. Our students are learning about gardening and helping to harvest all of the fresh fruits and vegetables. Corn, watermelon, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cantaloupe and more are all going strong in the garden.
Founded in 1995, Positive Attitude Youth Center's vision of its ministry is threefold. First, we serve at-risk families and communities with needed resources. Secondly, we attend to the whole child: spiritually, academically, and physically. Finally, we give students and families the opportunity to improve socially, build sustainable and healthy lifestyles, and build character. Through this vision, PAYC hopes to see better neighborhoods, less crime, and more thoughtful choices from children and young adults.
